Do you like to sing?
Do you like the sound of a Capella music? (no instruments-only voices) Would you like to meet people who share the same interests? Then the Harbormen might be just the thing you’re looking for.
The Harbormen is a chorus of the Harmony Society dedicated to enjoying a Capella music such as Doo-Wop, Barbershop, Show tunes, Jazz and more. Our rehearsals are filled with enthusiastic and friendly men from varied backgrounds with a range of musical abilities. Our group is open to all men who love to sing. It isn't necessary to know how to read music or have previous musical experience. If you can “carry a tune” we can help you with the rest.
In addition to providing chorus and quartet performances, we also participate in periodic social events, competitions and community service, relishing the wonderful feelings that go with sharing our music. We rehearse Monday nights at 7:30 PM at the Unitarian Fellowship Hall, 380 Nicolls Road, in Stony Brook, NY. If you would like further information, please contact Dave Lance at 631-331-8278 (or firstname.lastname@example.org). Otherwise, just come on down!!
