In memory of Joe Koesterer

We heard through his family that Harborman Joe Koesterer passed away March 19, 2021. Joe was for many years our "Man Behind the Scenes", making sets for shows, along with singing with us, and much more. Below are tributes to Joe from some of our current members.

TRIBUTE TO JOE KOESTERER

Joe: always there for you, dependable, unassuming, excellent craftsman, and a real gentleman.

David Lance

Joe was an asset to the chapter and a good man also.

Walter Baepler

Joe was one of the best. Not only taking care of the uniforms but building most of the outstanding sets for us and for his church affairs. May he rest in peace. Let us keep him in our prayers.

Roger Schaefer

RIP Joe! A good man and a good man with tools! He helped build many sets for our outstanding shows! Praying for the family.

Greg Davis

Oh how sad. I remember Joe as being so handy and talented. There was nothing he could not build out of wood. He was the go-to guy when we needed sets constructed for our shows.

My condolences to the Harbormen they have lost a very special person.

Herb Mordkoff

(I remember that Joe did) so much for our show productions. He was our scenery guy and did a great job providing us with scenery that impressed us as well as the audience.
